Astroheat — Build & Setup Guide

1. Parts & Tools

• ESP32 dev board, XT60 input, 4 × RCA heater outputs, 2.5 mm sensor jacks
• LM2596 adjustable buck module (for the variable DC output)
• Enclosure, wiring, fuses, connectors, basic hand tools

2. Wiring Overview

Follow the manual for per‑pin wiring. The guide includes a clean diagram for each connector and channel. Keep heater channels and sensor inputs clearly labeled. Ensure the 10 A main fuse is installed on the XT60 input.

3. Firmware — Flash Astroheat

Use Chrome or Edge on desktop, connect the ESP32 via USB, then open the Flash Astroheat page and follow the on‑screen steps. Configure Wi‑Fi and Blynk token as indicated in the manual.

4. Blynk App Setup

1. Create or sign in to your Blynk account.
2. Add the Astroheat dashboard (template provided in the manual).
3. Enter your device’s Auth Token and confirm data streams.
4. Verify live readings (temperature, power %) and try manual sliders.

5. Outdoor Use (“Poor‑man’s Dome”)

Astroheat is intended to stay outside under a proper protective cover. On clear nights, just remove the cover and start imaging — no heavy lifting, no nightly rebuild. Always ensure cables are strain‑relieved and weather‑protected.

6. Troubleshooting & Safety

• No Wi‑Fi? Re‑flash and confirm SSID/password in the flasher.
• Heater not warming? Check sensor assignment and channel fuse.
• Unexpected shutdown? Verify total current < 10 A and enclosure ventilation.
